PPとして省略されたポリプロピレンは、プロピレンの添加重合によって形成されるポリマーです。透明で軽い外観の白いワックス状の素材です。化学式は（C3H6）n、密度は0.89～0.91g/cm3であり、可燃性であり、融点は189℃で、約155℃で柔らかくなり、使用温度範囲は-30°140°です。酸、アルカリ、塩溶液、および80°未満のさまざまな有機溶媒の腐食に抵抗することができ、高温と酸化下で分解できます。ポリプロピレンは、優れた性能を持つ一種の熱可塑性合成樹脂です。それは無色で半透明の熱可塑性光の汎用プラスチックです。耐薬品性、耐熱性、電気断熱性、高強度の機械的特性、および高耐摩耗性処理性能があります。衣料品、毛布、その他の繊維製品、医療機器、自動車、自転車、部品、送信パイプライン、化学容器、食品および薬物包装の生産に広く使用されています。
